4 DAYS LEFT OF THE SCHOOL. The last day of school will be May 26th. Students will have a pizza party in class that day. They are free to bring treats to contribute.
Monday, May 23rd at 10:00 is the 6th and 7th grade awards ceremony!
Wednesday, May 25th is the 8th Promotion ceremont at 10:30 am.

Mr. Kevin Rhodes- Classroom Teacher
Mr. Rhodes is Southern California native in his third year of teaching in Atlanta Public Schools. He has been teacher for 7 years a Special Education Teacher and 14 years of service with the special needs population. He comes to Sylvan with a level of expertise in behavior management, social-emotional learning and modified curriculums. Mr. Rhodes is currently pursuing his Masters of Education in Special Education.
Mr. Kevin Calhoun- Classroom Paraprofessional
A native of Dallas, Texas, Mr. Calhoun has been with APS for 3 years. Two of those three years in the Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Supports program. He is Certified in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for Autism for three years and certified as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)Â by the Board Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Mr. Calhoun has worked with children for over twenty years in nonprofit, church and community.
